Since the beginning of the Christmas Term the artist Sophie Rae (www.sophie-rae.com) has been running a creative session every week at the After School Café. The idea behind these workshops is to look at the positive qualities and Fruits of the Spirit that we want to encourage in ourselves and young people alongside creative activities. We think that this emphasis on positive development has had a beneficial effect on the young people taking part with improved behaviour and a greater ability to engage with the staff here. These workshops are free with funding from the Portishead Nautical Trust.
